AlignCanvas turns your images into motion, right in your browser. Your images and projects stay on your device. This page explains the small amount of information we do handle, why, and what you can do about it.
The short version. We never upload your images, videos or projects. If you create an account we keep your email address and your plan. We don't sell your data, we don't run ads, and we don't use advertising or tracking cookies.

1. Who we are
AlignCanvas (aligncanvas.com) is based in Saudi Arabia ("AlignCanvas", "we", "us"). We are the controller of the personal information described in this policy.
2. What we collect
Your images and projects: nothing
Everything you make in the editor is rendered on your own device. The images you add, the projects you build and the files you export are never sent to us. Your current project is saved in your browser's local storage so it's still there when you come back; clearing your browser data removes it.
Account information
You can use the editor without an account. To export, you sign in, and we then keep:
- Your email address and a unique account ID.
- If you sign in with Google: the name, email address and profile picture Google shares with us. We never see your Google password.
- If you sign in with email: your password, stored only as a secure hash by our authentication provider.
- Your plan: whether you're on Free or Pro, and until when.
- Sign-in records: when the account was created and when it last signed in.
Payments (when Pro becomes available)
Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. We keep the Stripe customer ID and the status of your subscription so we can give you Pro features.
Technical information
Like every website, our hosting provider receives technical data when you load a page: IP address, browser type, device type, the page requested and the time. It is used to deliver the site, keep it secure and fix errors.
Messages you send us
If you email us, we keep the message and your address so we can reply.
3. Why we use it

We don't send marketing emails unless you've asked for them, and every one would include a way to unsubscribe. We don't use your information for automated decisions that significantly affect you.
4. Who processes it
We don't sell or rent personal information. We use a few trusted providers to run AlignCanvas, each bound to protect the data and use it only to provide their service to us:
- Supabase: accounts, authentication and our database.
- Vercel: hosting the website and its server functions.
- Resend: delivering account emails such as sign-in links.
- Google: "Continue with Google" sign-in, if you choose it; and Google Fonts, which serves the site's typeface and receives your IP address when the font loads.
- jsDelivr: a content network that serves some of the open-source code the editor runs, and receives your IP address when it does.
- Stripe: payments, once Pro is available.
We may also share information if the law requires it, to protect the rights and safety of our users or others, or as part of a merger or sale of the business, in which case this policy continues to apply to your information.
5. How long we keep it
- Account information: for as long as your account exists. When you delete your account we erase it within 30 days, except what we must keep by law.
- Payment records: as long as tax and accounting law requires, usually up to 7 years.
- Technical logs: kept by our hosting providers for a short period, normally no more than 30 days.
- Projects in your browser: until you clear them; they are on your device, not ours.
6. Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us to:
- show you the personal information we hold about you, and give you a copy;
- correct it if it's wrong;
- delete your account and the information that goes with it;
- stop or limit how we use it, or object to a use based on our legitimate interests;
- send it to you or another service in a machine-readable format.
Email us at hello@aligncanvas.com from the address on your account and we'll reply within 30 days. We handle personal data in line with Saudi Arabia's Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL), and you can complain to the Saudi Data and AI Authority (SDAIA). If you're in the EU, the UK or another region with a data protection authority, you can also complain to it. Residents of California and other US states have the same rights under their state laws; we don't sell or share personal information for targeted advertising.
7. International transfers
Our providers may process information in the United States, the EU and other countries. When information leaves the EU or the UK, it is protected by safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
8. Security
Connections to AlignCanvas are encrypted (HTTPS), passwords are hashed, and our database only lets each account read its own record. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and will tell you promptly if a breach affects you.
9. Children
AlignCanvas is not meant for children under 16, and we don't knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we'll delete it.
10. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. If a change is significant, for example if we start using analytics that need your consent, we'll tell you on the site or by email before it takes effect.
